What is NHL Wordle?
NHL Wordle is a free daily hockey guessing game in the spirit of Wordle. Every day there is one mystery NHL player to find, and every guess shows how close you are on team, division, sweater number, position, birth country, age, draft pick, and career points.
If you like hockey trivia, this is the quickest daily test of how well you know the league — then keep going with the NHL Immaculate Grid, the 84-0 lineup challenge, or the daily career path puzzle.
How to play
- Type an NHL player's name and pick them from the list to make a guess.
- Green means the attribute matches today's mystery player. For numbers like age, sweater number, draft pick and points, arrows point toward the answer.
- Keep guessing until you find the answer. After 5 guesses a draft clue unlocks, and after 8 guesses the player's headshot is revealed.
- Solve it to build your daily streak — a new mystery player arrives every day.
